A published court document read: “The defendant, Robert Kraft, hereby pleads not guilty to all charges and requests a non-jury trial in the above-styled cause.”

As part of a bust in Jupiter, Florida, Kraft was allegedly involved in two incidents last month at the Orchids of Day Spa.

The charge is a first-degree misdemeanour and is punishable by up to a year in jail, a $5,000 (£3,770) fine and 100 hours of community service.

In a statement released last week, a spokesperson for Kraft said they “categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity.”

The Patriots owner’s arraignment is set for March 27.
